This page explains what personal information Touring Sorted collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell it, and we don't track you around the internet.
Who we are
Touring Sorted is run by T9 Digital Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 11142389. Registered office: 14 Greenbank Avenue, Uppermill, Oldham, OL3 6EB (registered office only, no visitors). We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZA875749.
T9 Digital Ltd is the "data controller" for the information described here, which means we decide how it's used and we're responsible for looking after it.

What we collect
When you visit the site. Like every website, our hosting company (20i Ltd, based in the UK) automatically records basic technical information when you load a page: your IP address, the type of browser and device you're using, the page you asked for and the time. This is used to keep the site running, secure and protected from attacks. Our host keeps these logs for up to 12 weeks, then deletes them.
When you use Sort my WiFi. Your answers are stored in your own browser while you use the tool, so you can go back and change them. They're not sent to us, and they disappear when you close the tab.
When you email us. If you email hello@touringsorted.co.uk, we'll have your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you. We keep emails for as long as we need to deal with your message, and delete old correspondence regularly.
What we don't do
We don't use analytics or tracking tools that follow you around the web. We don't show adverts. We don't sell, rent or trade your information, ever.
Cookies
The site doesn't set any cookies.
Links to shops. Some of our links go to shops such as Amazon and others. When you click one and arrive on their site, that shop may use its own cookies, for example so we can be credited if you buy something. That happens on their website, not ours, and is covered by their privacy policy. You can read more on our How we make money page.
Why we're allowed to use your information
The law requires us to have a reason, called a "lawful basis", for using personal information. Ours are:
- Legitimate interests for server logs (keeping the site secure and working) and for replying to your emails (you've asked us something).
- Consent for email sign-ups. You choose to sign up, and you can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Who else sees your information
Only the companies that help us run the site: 20i (hosting and email) and, once email sign-ups are live, EmailOctopus. They only use your information to provide their service to us. We'd only share information with anyone else if the law required it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop using your information, or limit how we use it.
- Give you your information in a format you can take elsewhere.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email address because you signed up, we'll let you know.
